Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat abnormalities inside the uterine cavity. A thin, telescope-like instrument called a hysteroscope is gently inserted through the vagina into the uterus. A special solution is used to expand the uterus, allowing the doctor to clearly view the inner cavity.
Conditions such as fibroids, polyps, and adhesions (scar tissue) can be effectively treated using hysteroscopic surgery. This is a daycare procedure, meaning patients typically return home the same day and experience minimal recovery time.

What Is Advanced Hysteroscopy?

Advanced hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows doctors to directly examine the inside of the uterus using a thin, lighted instrument.

It helps accurately diagnose conditions like polyps, fibroids, adhesions, or other abnormalities that may affect fertility or cause abnormal bleeding. In some cases, minor issues can be treated during the same procedure.
